Here you will find simple, chic outfits, so easy and effortless to wear but with maximum style and great accessories. In celebration of the forthcoming Spring season, I have started with a Spring look. Whilst we may be thinking of ditching the Winter coat, knits will be a key piece for a few months to come and I am loving this beautiful cream sweater from Whistles.
Add a long geometric necklace - a great way to dress up a plain Spring knit!
For a long time now, I have been considering moving this blog to a new home.
When I first started out, I had no idea where my blogging journey would take me so I just came up with a name and started writing. At the time, I had just bought my new house so I felt inspired to report on all the wonderful interiors I was researching. Now, four or so years later, I have a jewellery business and write much more about fashion, accessories and lifestyle.
The new blog is called Betty Loves, it isn't quite finished yet, but you can take a sneak peak here.
For the time being though, I will still be writing here, at All things.
What do you think about the new blog? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below....
A few weeks ago I was interviewed by Jay Johnson of Diva Commandments blog about opening my accessories shop, the inspiration behind it and plans for the future. I also revealed the story behind where the name 'Betty LaLa' came from.
I'm feeling rather inspired today by these beautiful bright colours. Maybe it's the weather? it's been pretty dull here in England so I could do with an uplift in the form of some Monday inspiration. Also, I'm sitting here in head to toe black so it's time to get a much needed colour injection.
That turquoise top is just stunning on OP, but then she always does know how to work colour.

Just before Christmas, I ran out of moisturiser and grabbed a sample from my cosmetics drawer to tide me over until I could get some more.
Turns out, this was a blessing in disguise as the sample I grabbed was Ren Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream which I instantly fell in love with.
It has a light texture so a little goes a long way and the fresh smell is just lovely. The cream provides a great base for make up, providing a soft glow to the skin that we all wish for. It makes my skin feel really smooth and the appearance has improved (no blemishes) and I had people complementing me on how good my skin looked.
Needless to say I have just purchased the full sized bottle and I'm also looking at trying the night cream.
Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this cream. If you want to try it you can get it from lots of stores including ASOS, Space NK and Marks and Spencer
